Direct OPO-to-traveler engagement. Portable credentialing. Replaces the typical 25–40 percent agency margin with an 8 percent platform fee. First cohort opens June 2026.
MeiraWorks is the platform that lets OPOs engage traveling coordinators directly, without going through agency intermediaries. The result: lower margin extraction, portable credentialing across organizations, and continuous operational visibility from referral to recovery.
Across the United States, the traveling workforce that organ procurement runs on carries the operational work of the field on narrow timelines and high stakes: organ recovery coordinators, family services coordinators, hospital coordinators, referral coordinators, tissue recovery, hospital development, and perfusionists. Today, most of that workforce flows through agencies that extract 25–40 percent of billable rates without adding coordination value. MeiraWorks replaces that intermediary structure with a direct platform: the OPO posts the assignment, the coordinator accepts, credentials and payroll travel with the coordinator across OPOs, and the platform takes 8 percent.
The platform is built on shared compliance-native infrastructure with the other Meira products. Every AI-mediated interaction passes through Somabase's gateway. PHI is de-identified before reaching any model. Identifiers are restored on return. Every prompt is audit-logged.
OPOs post open shifts directly. Coordinators accept directly. No agency in between. Dispatch board updates in real time as assignments move through their lifecycle.
Background checks, certifications, training, and BAA status travel with the coordinator. No re-credentialing every time the workforce moves between OPOs.
The OPO is the direct issuer. MeiraPay handles invoice generation, classification, and CMS-216 line-item categorization at the transaction level so the financial close is continuous, not retroactive.
MeiraWorks is opening with a small first cohort of OPO partners and traveling coordinators. Sign up by track.
If you operate an OPO and are interested in evaluating MeiraWorks with your coordinator workforce, the cohort program runs through Q3 2026.
